Our signature festival is back, and this season we’re doing something new—producing the same show in all six locations! Get ready for “Dare to Dream,” a Disney musical revue that follows a group of trainees on their first day at a fictional Walt Disney Imagineering Studio. As they help each other discover their dreams, they explore the power of unity, inspiration, and possibility through a mix of contemporary songs, timeless classics, and brand-new medleys that will captivate Disney fans of all ages. Investing in Our FutureIn addition to our festival fundraising efforts, we are aiming to raise an extra $10,000 to strengthen our organizational endowment fund—a key part of our sustainability strategy. This fund is invested, and its earnings help cover our annual operating needs. Each year, we plan to grow this fund by dedicating a portion of our theater festival’s net proceeds to the principal amount. With your support, we can ensure that this fund continues to make a lasting impact on our organization and programming. If you are interested in considering an estate gift, please let us know! Please consider joining the MSAC today to show your support for not only the summer theater festival but all of our arts and music activities enhancing the lives of the citizens and visitors throughout northwest Kansas! This event will feature refreshments, introductions of key contributors, and recognition of our incredible local supporters. Exact dates, locations, and other details TBA. Workshops and Concert with Guest ArtistThis year, we are hoping to bring in a professional Broadway performer to work with our casts and present a special concert open to the public. The guest artist will conduct a workshop with each of our show casts during one of their regular rehearsal periods. We will then host a special concert with the guest artist performing, followed by an audience Q&A and reception. The special concert will be held at the Hoxie High School Auditorium, 1625 Queen Avenue. As we secure grant funding this spring, we will work closely with the guest artist to finalize the details of this exciting opportunity. General notesRehearsal Details
